O R I G I N S
✧ They originate when a firefly dies, so in a sense they are the reincarnation of fireflies. ✧

B O D Y F E A T U R E S
✧ They're very small, from 5 to 10 cm. ✧
✧ Their antennas, wing tips and eyes glows in the dark. Also, if they've some birthmark they will glow as well. ✧
✧When it's dark their sclera turns black. ✧
✧ They always have a ring on their tail, on which they can hang their lantern. ✧
✧ The fur on their neck and ears protects them from the cold wind, when they fly. ✧
✧ They can use their wings to cover themselves. ✧

L A N T E R N S G U A R D I A N S (NEW!)
✧ They're the ones in charge of protecting other alakais lanterns, while the last ones are asleep. ✧
✧ They can be distingued from others because they wear a special ring. On one side of it there is the Guardian's logo, while on the other side there is the Alaksi's name. ✧
✧ There are at max 3 Guardians (gold, silver and bronze - this isn't a rank, names derive from the material of the ring), so they can take turns and not get tired too much. ✧
✧ When they're in turn, they sleep during night and during the day, while others are asleep, they control lanterns. When they aren't in turn, they sleep during day and at night they do the normal alakais mansions. ✧

✧ Each Alakai has his personal lantern, which can be any type/form. ✧
✧ When they sleep all the lanterns are disposed safely in the house of the lanterns Guardians. ✧
✧ The light in their lanter represents their soul, so the lantern is the most vulnerable part of them! That's why they have a special Giardians for them, who is the one in charge to protect the while the other sleep. ✧
